Frequently Asked Questions
Should you have any further questions or require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us at the clinic and our friendly team will be happy to assist you.
Q: Can I be put to sleep for my treatment?
A: We recognise that many people are afraid of dental treatment and we do everything possible to ensure our patients are comfortable. Sedation and general anaesthetic are available as appropriate.

Q: How can I pay?
A: You may wish to pay by credit card or in a series of instalments over an agreed period or through private insurance schemes.

Q: Do I have all the treatment at once?
A: It depends on the treatment required. We can treat people over a period of time because that fits in better with their working lives and with managing payment, or very quickly if this is what they need.

Q:
If I want to change my dentist, do I have to inform my current dentist?
A: Out of courtesy. Unlike general medical practitioners, we do not necessarily require your records to be passed on. Your first visit with us will involve a full mouth examination with x-rays to enable us to obtain a detailed record of your past dental history.

Q:
Will the dentist who treats me carry out all the work on my teeth?
A: Once we have examined your teeth, gums and jaws, we decide together what treatment is needed and, if you require specialist care, your personal dentist will oversee the work. It is also worth bearing in mind that we have a hygienist available to clean you teeth thoroughly.
